Lemon Yogurt Sherbet

Ingredients:

2 cups plain yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 vanilla bean, split
1 1/4 cups simple syrup made from equal parts sugar and water (if your tap water is hard, that is with a lot of minerals, you may want to use bottled water to maintain consistency and taste)
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Cooking Recipe:

Combine ingredients. Chill 30 minutes then turn in an ice cream freezer.
